Electric vehicles (EVs) are shaking up the way we travel, offering a cleaner and greener mode of transportation. And guess what? Indonesia is jumping on the EV bandwagon, ready to revolutionize its transportation game. Just last Friday, Artemis Indonesia - leading Public Relations Agency in Indonesia had the honor of supporting not one, but two clients, GoTo Group and Planet Ban, in a groundbreaking event for the Electrum two-wheel EV factory. The excitement went down in the GIIC Cikarang area of Bekasi, West Java Province, and it's a clear sign that Indonesia is dead set on becoming a regional leader in EV adoption.

Get ready for the Electrum EV Factory, a mega-facility spanning a whopping three hectares. This place is going to be the heart and soul of Indonesia's EV infrastructure. Equipped with all the latest tech and fancy systems for energy efficiency, waste management, and water treatment, this factory is about to turn the transportation landscape upside down. We can expect it to be up and running by mid-2024, churning out a mind-blowing 250,000 EV units every year.

Indonesia knows that cutting greenhouse gas emissions and breaking free from fossil fuel dependency is a big deal. That's why they're diving headfirst into electric mobility. The goal? To have a jaw-dropping nine million electric motorbikes cruising the streets by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2060. Electrum is totally on board with this green vision, leading the charge in local EV manufacturing and investing in battery infrastructure and electric motor technology.

But wait, there's more! Electrum is not just about making cool EVs. They're also dead serious about creating a sustainable supply chain for all the EV components. How? By teaming up with local battery manufacturers and other key players in the industry. These collaborations ensure that high-quality batteries and components are readily available to fuel the growth of Indonesia's EV industry. Plus, it's a win-win situation, generating jobs, boosting technological advancements, and securing the long-term success of the EV ecosystem.

Speaking of collaborations, Electrum has joined forces with Pertamina Power Indonesia and Pertamina Patra Niaga to take things up a notch. They're working together to package two-wheel EV batteries and support battery cell production through the Indonesia Battery Corporation. This partnership means more locally produced EV components and a supply chain that's here to stay.

Oh, and here's something cool: Electrum also inked a deal with GIIC, an industrial park in Cikarang. The plan? Gradually introduce Electrum EVs into the operational fleet in that area. Talk about leading by example and promoting sustainable transportation practices!

But wait, wait, wait! There's even more good news. Electrum and Planet Ban, a rad motorcycle spare parts store network, are joining forces to make life easier for EV owners. They're setting up Battery Swap Stations and after-sales services at hundreds of Planet Ban outlets across Jakarta. Who said maintaining an EV had to be a hassle? With these stations, EV owners will experience a smooth and convenient ownership journey.

This groundbreaking ceremony by Electrum is the real deal, my friends. It shows their unwavering commitment to shaping the future of sustainable mobility in Indonesia. By building a cutting-edge two-wheel EV factory and forming strategic partnerships, Electrum is driving EV adoption, boosting local manufacturing capabilities, and creating an EV ecosystem that's out of this world. And guess what? Going electric doesn't just mean fewer carbon emissions; it also means more economic growth, job opportunities, and amazing technological innovations.

As Indonesia continues its journey toward a greener and more sustainable future, Electrum's groundbreaking initiatives are set to make a massive impact. They're transforming the transportation landscape and setting an inspiring example for countries all around the globe. Buckle up, folks, because the electric revolution is just getting started!
