Last Thursday, we have the privilege to support PT AIA FINANCIAL and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) in launching their exclusive souvenir as part of their initiative to promote equality and inclusivity for neurodivergent individuals in society. The souvenir features the artwork of two young neurodivergent artists with autism, Rafy Rasyad (25) and Abhiyasa Adhi Pradhanika (13), and is based on the theme "Embrace the Wonders". Rafy created his paintings using colored pencils, ink, and markers, while Abhiyasa used the acrylic pouring technique to create his unique abstract paintings.

Both artists used the AIA and BCA company color palettes to create their artwork. The initiative is part of AIA's commitment to promote inclusivity and equality through their ESG-focused business practices. Lia Merdekawaty, Head of Corporate Communication AIA, said that the collaboration with the two neurodivergent artists is an opportunity to showcase their unique talents and inspire more appreciation and support for individuals with neurological differences.

The Senior Vice President of Wealth Management BCA, Jadrawati, expressed her support for the initiative and hoped that it would contribute to promoting inclusivity for young Indonesian artists. The launch of the souvenir is also in line with the theme of the 2023 World Autism Awareness Day by the United Nations, which is "Transforming towards an inclusive world for all neurodiversity".

In Indonesia, there were over 5,530 cases of individuals with neurological differences, including autism, recorded by the Ministry of Health between 2020-2021. The collaboration between AIA and BCA and the artwork of Rafy and Abhiyasa aim to promote inclusivity and appreciation for the unique talents of neurodivergent individuals. Artemis is proud to support AIA and BCA initiative and hoping more brands can do or participate in similar initiative.
