On September 4, 2023, as the nation celebrated National Customer Day, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) proudly highlighted its unwavering commitment to the "Customer First" philosophy, with a particular focus on the remarkable achievements of BCA Mobile in serving its valued customers.

National Customer Day served as a moment for BCA to express gratitude to its customers, recognizing their pivotal role in the bank's 66-year journey. Jahja Setiaatmadja, BCA's President Director, emphasized that customer trust and loyalty are the bedrock of their longevity.

BCA's "Customer First" philosophy has driven their relentless pursuit of innovative digital solutions. BCA Mobile emerged as a standout example of this commitment. Notably, BCA introduced the online account opening feature on BCA Mobile a year prior to the pandemic, redefining customer banking experiences.

The numbers speak for themselves. By June 2023, BCA had reached a significant milestone, boasting 37.6 million customer accounts, marking a remarkable 19.4% year-on-year growth. The online account opening feature was a game-changer, responsible for a staggering 66% of all individual accounts opened in the first half of 2023.

This achievement underscores BCA's dedication to its "Customer First" philosophy, providing customers with an efficient and seamless banking experience. BCA Mobile has become an indispensable tool for customers, aligning perfectly with their evolving needs.

Beyond their digital triumphs, BCA maintains a strong commitment to social responsibility through various Bakti BCA programs. These initiatives encompass scholarships, knowledge sharing, wildlife conservation, stunting prevention, medical outreach, blood drives, and sustainable development projects.

In conclusion, Jahja Setiaatmadja emphasized that BCA views Bakti BCA as a form of "paying it forward," reflecting their gratitude for customer trust. BCA remains steadfast in enhancing societal and environmental well-being while supporting Sustainable Development Goals.

To celebrate National Customer Day, BCA's board of directors personally served customers at three locations: KCU City Tower, KCU Tangerang City, and KCU Depok. This symbolic gesture underscores their commitment to putting customers first in all they do.
