A total of 231 participants out of 4,700 applicants have been selected to join the SYNRGY Academy Batch 6 program, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative organized by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) in collaboration with BINAR. Aimed at nurturing competitive digital talents and meeting the demand for skilled professionals in the technology field, this program offers an IT bootcamp for high school/K-equivalent students and university students.

Amid the proliferation of IT bootcamps organized by various companies in Indonesia, a specialized bootcamp for the banking industry remains a rarity, if not unique. However, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has taken a significant step forward by hosting the SYNRGY Academy batch 6 program—an initiative that has garnered high praise in the banking world. As communication consultants for BCA, we are incredibly proud to support this valuable endeavor.

The collaboration between BCA and BINAR, an EdTech platform focused on information technology education, has given birth to a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program aimed at developing and fostering more digital talent in Indonesia. This program offers a diverse range of IT bootcamps tailored to participants' interests and aptitudes.

SYNRGY Academy batch 6 received an overwhelming response, with over 4,700 applicants. After a rigorous selection process, 231 participants were chosen to enroll in various offered classes. These classes encompass Full Stack Web (Javascript), UI/UX Design & Product Management, Back End Engineering (Java), Android Engineering (Kotlin), and Quality Assurance.

In addition to receiving high-quality technical training, participants will be confronted with real-world societal issues. They will be challenged to find solutions by implementing the project-based learning concept in their educational journey, allowing them to immediately apply the knowledge they gain in practical scenarios.

Hera F. Haryn, EVP Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility at BCA, expressed, "We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm shown by participants for the SYNRGY Academy program, which reflects the high hopes for talented young individuals in the digital field in Indonesia. We hope each participant can absorb as much knowledge as possible from this program and contribute to increasing the number of competent tech professionals in Indonesia."

Meanwhile, CEO of BINAR, Alamanda Shantika, added, "BCA and BINAR are committed to equipping digital talents with skills that meet industry demands. SYNRGY Academy will prepare high school graduates and college students to compete in the job market."

Throughout their participation in the SYNRGY Academy program, attendees will gain valuable benefits for their career development. These include direct learning with expert facilitators and mentors in the digital product development field, skill enhancement tailored to industry requirements, experiential learning, integrated curricula, intensive 6-month classes, and opportunities to enhance non-technical skills through free workshop sessions. Participants also have the chance to work within the BCA Group and receive job assistance as BINAR bootcamp alumni through Job Connect.

With initiatives like SYNRGY Academy, the prospect of seeing a more talented and competent youth generation in the field of technology in Indonesia is coming closer to fruition. We hope that initiatives like this continue to evolve and have a significant positive impact on the IT and technology industry in our homeland.
