The BCA Sharing Knowledge Program is continuing its awesome series of activities by reaching out to people with disabilities. They teamed up with Precious One for an event called "I'm Capable" to show their support and empower individuals with disabilities to pursue their creativity and independence. Even Artemis Indonesia, the Public Relations Agency backing BCA in their strategic communication, is super excited about this program.

At the opening of the "I'm Capable" event, we had the BCA Director, Antonius Widodo Mulyono, the amazing Founder of Precious One, Ratnawati Sutedjo, the talented Executive Vice President of Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility at BCA, Hera F. Haryn, the Senior Vice President of Corporate Communication at BCA, Susanti Nurmalawati, and the dedicated Vice President of CSR at BCA, Krisbiakto Cahyo Adi.

With the spirit of #GenerasiPastiBisa (#CanDoGeneration) in mind, the "I'm Capable" event featured several activities, including the fabulous Disability Creators Bazaar. This awesome bazaar showcased and sold a wide range of products and creations by people with disabilities from the Dewijaya Care, Precious One, and Precious Family communities. They had everything from delicious food, cool toys, beauty products, handicrafts, to trendy fashion items. The event was buzzing with hundreds of visitors, including BCA employees, and nearly all the showcased products were sold out, making a significant impact for the participating individuals with disabilities.

The "I'm Capable" event also hosted seminars for both BCA employees and people with disabilities. BCA employees attended the "Aku Sahabat Disabilitas" ("I Am a Disability Ally") seminar, where they learned about understanding disabilities and how to effectively communicate and interact with people who have disabilities. On the other hand, people with disabilities attended the "The Power of Communication" seminar, which focused on optimizing communication through social media, whether for personal use or for their businesses.

BCA also extended an invitation to around 40 individuals with disabilities, including students from various Special Needs Schools (SLB), foundations, and business groups, to visit BCA KCU Thamrin. Some of the groups that participated were from SLB Pangudi Luhur, Elsafan Foundation, YPAC, SLB Kasih Bunda, SLB Negeri 6 Jakarta, SLB Santi Rama, and the Rumpud community. During their visit, the friendly BCA KCU Thamrin staff provided education on banking services and financial literacy, creating a beneficial experience for all.

BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono expressed, "We designed the 'I'm Capable' event to give people with disabilities an opportunity to showcase their skills and creations while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. BCA firmly believes that every individual has the potential to contribute and create. That's why we collaborate with organizations like Precious One, aiming to consistently provide the necessary support for people with disabilities."

Anis, one of the talented individuals with disabilities who sold sewing products at the Disability Creators Bazaar, happily shared, "I'm thrilled because my creations were completely sold out today. Programs like 'I'm Capable' from BCA motivate me to keep exploring my creative talents. I hope more individuals with disabilities can receive assistance, and our creations can reach an even wider market."

Founder of Precious One, Ratnawati, expressed her gratitude, saying, "We are truly grateful to BCA for providing tangible facilities and support to people with disabilities, enabling them to unleash their full potential and skills. We strongly believe that the support from the community will always be the driving force behind our ability to create our best work from within."
