In an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has implemented the "Guru JUARA-Program Inovasi Pembelajaran" training program. The program is designed to provide intensive training to teachers and school management in order to enhance their pedagogical abilities and improve the quality of education in BCA's schools.
The Guru JUARA training program is being conducted in five schools located in Banyuwangi, with two elementary schools, two junior high schools, and one senior high school participating. The program is being attended by 80 participants, including teachers and school management teams.
Krisbiakto, BCA's Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), stated that the Guru JUARA-Inovasi Pembelajaran program is a testament to BCA's commitment to improving the quality of education and pedagogical abilities of teachers in BCA's schools in Banyuwangi. The program is focused on aligning the learning system with the Merdeka Belajar curriculum and improving student literacy and numeracy.
The program begins with a baseline assessment and will be conducted from March to November 2023. The Guru JUARA training program aims to provide guidance to teachers and school management teams in three main areas. The first is to enhance teachers' knowledge and skills in creating effective, innovative, and enjoyable learning experiences for students. The second is to improve the ability to design and implement teaching materials. The third is to enhance the ability to formulate and implement learning implementation standards and monitor the quality of learning.
The implementation of the Guru JUARA training program underscores BCA's commitment to improving the quality of education in Indonesia. The program is expected to produce positive outcomes and improve the quality of education in BCA's schools, thereby contributing to the development of a more educated and skilled population in Indonesia.
