Last Saturday Artemis was invited to support Gojek, an on-demand service unit within the GoTo Group, to launch a new jacket for its driver partners. This distinctive jacket, symbolizing collaboration and communal spirit within the GoTo ecosystem, represents the nation's spirit to progress together. The unveiling took place at the Gojek Family Day, a gathering of thousands of driver partners from the Jabodetabek area, along with other GoTo ecosystem partners, employees, Gojek management, and the wider GoTo Group.

The event coincided with Gojek’s anniversary month, offering various activities for partners and their families, including entertainment provided by partners, dedicated areas for children with nutritious food and beverages, a food court, and Partner Swadaya booths offering specially priced goods for partners and families.

Catherine Hindra Sutjahyo, the Director and President of the On-Demand Services Business Unit at GoTo, emphasized, “Partners and their families have been witnesses to and integral parts of Gojek's growth, from its inception to becoming a part of the GoTo ecosystem. This new jacket signifies this development. We hope this jacket serves as a symbol, further strengthening the communal spirit within the GoTo ecosystem, which has become the largest digital ecosystem in Indonesia. I believe Gojek, along with all its driver partners, can continue to grow together with Indonesia.”

The new jackets, representing the GoTo ecosystem, will gradually be distributed to partners at various locations, including operational offices in different cities, driver gathering points, or partner community hubs like basecamps, GoRide Instant shelters, and through direct ordering.

Patrick Walujo, the CEO of GoTo, added, “As one of the early believers in Gojek’s future, I've seen the spirit of collaboration between driver partners, customers, and employees as the key to Gojek's success and growth to its current scale.”

Furthermore, the integration and synergy across the GoTo ecosystem platforms have resulted in innovations benefiting consumers and partners in Indonesia. For instance:

  • GoSend Sameday service on Tokopedia has increased the earnings of GoSend Sameday driver partners. Research by LPEM FEB UI in 2023 indicated a rise in the average monthly income for existing GoSend Sameday drivers in 2022, with the potential for new driver partners to earn an average monthly income of Rp 4.9 million.
  • Expansion of GoFood within the Tokopedia app offers more opportunities for GoFood merchants to boost transaction numbers and gain additional income sources.
  • The introduction of GoPay and GoPayLater as payment options on Tokopedia further streamlines shopping within the GoTo ecosystem.
  • The latest offering, GoPay Tabungan by Jago, a bank account accessible via the GoPay or Gojek app, continues the collaboration between GoPay and Bank Jago since 2021. This service accelerates financial inclusion through bank account ownership.

The initiatives and products within the GoTo ecosystem underscore a commitment to fostering unity, innovation, and growth within Indonesia’s digital landscape. The synergy among these platforms aims to empower local businesses and elevate the economic opportunities for all participants within the ecosystem.
