Starting this month, Artemis Indonesia was chosen as the communication consultant for McDonald's Indonesia, a PT Rekso National Food subsidiary. As their first collaborative endeavor, Artemis Indonesia is helping McDonald's Indonesia reinforce its commitment to making a positive, sustainable impact on society.

This time around, McDonald's Indonesia is teaming up with the Inspiration Factory Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized children through 21st-century education and social-emotional development. Both organizations share a common mission: shaping the character and human resources of Indonesia. In a heartwarming initiative, McDonald's Indonesia employees, affectionately known as the McFamily, volunteered their time to promote literacy among nearly 100 underprivileged children under the care of the Inspiration Factory Foundation in the Jembatan III area of Pluit, North Jakarta.

All of McDonald's Indonesia's initiatives are grounded in five core values: Serve, Inclusion, Integrity, Community, and Family. These values align perfectly with the philosophy of "Good Intentions, Good Results," as advocated by the founder of the Rekso Group, which is now embodied in the primary campaign, #McDBerbagi. This initiative aims to spread happiness and joy throughout the Indonesian community.

Carrying the spirit of the #McDBerbagi campaign, McDonald's Indonesia has once again hosted its employee volunteering program, "Community Month." First initiated in 2022, "Community Month" is an integral part of McFamily's self-development process, fostering a sense of care and empathy so they can provide the best service to the community. Volunteering alongside the Inspiration Factory Foundation is just one facet of this year's "Community Month" activities.

Yulianti Hadena, HR & GS Director of McDonald's Indonesia, stated, "Community is a crucial part of McDonald's progress in Indonesia. Wherever we are, we want to grow together and positively impact our surroundings, including by engaging in various activities, such as volunteering for learning events organized by the Inspiration Factory Foundation."

The topic of learning introduced by the Inspiration Factory Foundation this time is "My Ideas." Aligned with McDonald's goal of helping children develop knowledge and self-potential, with a strong emphasis on character development, the program designed by the Inspiration Factory Foundation aims to train children to articulate and combine opinions in the problem-solving process.

During the event, McDonald's Indonesia employees serving as volunteers played the role of facilitators, assisting children in learning to think creatively, express their ideas confidently, and realize the value of their voices. For marginalized children, these skills can be essential assets in building a brighter future. Moreover, this program has the potential to inspire them to pursue education, nurture their talents, and make positive contributions to society.

McDonald's Indonesia, through its partnership with the Inspiration Factory Foundation, continues to demonstrate its commitment to uplifting communities and investing in the future of Indonesia's youth. Their dedication to social responsibility remains unwavering as they work together to create a better and brighter tomorrow for all.
