Planet Ban Offers Free Motorcycle Inspections for Lebaran 2023

As the annual Eid al-Fitr holiday draws closer, many Indonesians are preparing for the annual ritual of mudik - returning to their hometowns to celebrate with family and friends. However, the road to a joyous celebration can be treacherous, especially for those traveling on motorcycles.

To help ensure the safety of motorcycle riders, PT Surganya Motor Indonesia (Planet Ban), an innovative company for Indonesian motorcyclists, is offering free motorcycle checks at over 1,000 outlets throughout Indonesia. The free checks come just in time for the expected peak of the annual mudik exodus, which is predicted to take place from April 19-21, 2023.

Deden Hendra Shakti, the Chief Operating Officer of Planet Ban, said, "Although there are appeals not to use motorcycles for mudik, for those who have to travel by motorcycle, we want to help ensure that their motorcycles are in prime condition through this free motorcycle check program. The Ministry of Transportation had previously predicted that the number of mudik travelers this year would increase significantly compared to last year, with an estimated 25.13 million people expected to travel by motorcycle. This figure represents 20.3% of the total estimated 128 million travelers.

In addition to providing free motorcycle checks at over 1,000 outlets throughout Indonesia, motorcycle riders can also enjoy various attractive promotions during the mudik season in April 2023, such as:

• Free nitrogen tire inflation at all Planet Ban outlets

Apart from providing a host of benefits for the wider community, Planet Ban recently participated in the Mudik Swadaya Gojek program, which helped Gojek driver partners prepare their motorcycles for the mudik season by offering special discounts on Planeto Power tires.
