Educating the media on the C-beauty industry
Understanding local context is crucial when introducing a foreign brand. Before the launch, we identified a prevailing perception that C-beauty brands were primarily positioned as budget-friendly alternatives to established Western, Japanese, or Korean beauty labels.
To address this, we hosted an intimate media luncheon designed to educate journalists about JOY Group, the parent company of Judydoll, and its portfolio of future-facing products. The initiative aimed to reshape perceptions and emphasize the brand's distinct qualities. This was followed by a brand-led press launch at one of Indonesia's largest beauty events, JxB, further strengthening visibility and market entry impact.
